QDT uses a set of default icons for objects where either the user has not defined an icon or the system can not find the icon originally called for. Some of these can be used quite a bit and therefore can represent a large part of the look of a desktop. With this in mind, the default Icon Manager allows the user to override the system defaults with their own choices, customizing the look of the desktop even further. The program also includes a reset that restores the system's original default icons.
