Known Errata

Folders

- resizing a window to the very max that a screen can hold may keep it
  displaying correctly
  -> do not try to make any folder as large as your screen
  -> if this happens, exit QDT without saving the desktop
	>> will be fixed in next release

- renaming by doing a right mouse click on the text within a folder amy
  crashes QL (always does in Beta release, intermittent in demo)
  -> menu option and desktop objects are also less stable but rarer
  -> rename only from notebook (should be safer)
	>> CONFIRMED: will be fixed in next release

- changing the folder title - if you exceed 32 characters it may corrupt
  the folder display or crash QDT
  -> quit QDT without saving the desktop and restart it
	>> CONFIRMED: will be fixed in next release

- moving and dropping an icon to the very left edge of the folder makes
  it seem to disappear
  -> please leave a small bit of room to the left of an icon when moving
  -> if this happens, do NOT save your desktop; Quit without saving
	>> CONFIRMED: will be fixed in next release

- with a folder with no horizontal scroll bars, move an icon far enough
  to the right where a scroll bar appears, drag the icon back where the
  scroll bar should disappear.  This will mess up the functionality of
  the horizontal scroll bar.
  -> try refreshing the folder
  -> at worse close and reopen the folder
  -> resizing after such a move should also fix the operation
	>> CONFIRMED: will be fixed in next release

- moving and dropping an icon too low in a folder window without a
  vertical scroll bar will seem to make the icon disappear and the
  vertical scroll bar will not appear.
  -> resize the window taller and the icon will reappear
  -> if this happens with the scroll bar, scroll the window to get the
     icon back or resize the window a bit
	>> CONFIRMED: will be fixed in next release

- shortcut key to close window [CNTR F1] may not work on all systems


Text Entry

- occasionally during a text entry, doing a backspace after typing will
  cause the first character to be incorrect and other characters to be
  off by one to the right
  -> continue typing as if the characters are still in their correct
     position and do a RETURN as normal, text should be OK
  -> ESC and retry
	>> CONFIRMED: will be fixed in next release


Notebook

- if changing an Icon from a notebook, the folder/desktop version may
  update to the incorrect one [rare].
  -> verify that the change took place by reopening the notebook
    . it will be correct there
  -> save and restart the desktop if it is correct

- underlines for shortcut keys in buttons disappear after being
  selected the first time
  -> the shortcut keys still function
  -> change the page and come back, the underlines will be back
	>> CONFIRMED: fix is pending


IconDraw

- the live update icon window may have an overlapping row of verical
  pixels about 2/3 the way across the window.  The main drawing window
  is correct.
	>> CONFIRMED: fix is pending

Unimplemented Features

QDT is a work definitely in progress.  With that said, while full
desktop is now completed, there is a full slew of features not yet
implemented. Here is a partial list of what won't work.  Everything
else should be functional.  Note that, due to the number of features
in QDT, there may be some omissions in this list.

Most if not all of the items should now be active and functional.  Any
exceptions will get you a warning display window to let you know if you
try to use them.

    -> saves all values but nothing is yet enabled
